its a huge sign of immaturity in my opinion... and why is it hard to understand comfort via lies won't push you to solve the issue? if you're fat you're fat, if you're wrong, you're wrong, no number of comforters will change that.

I think that people are way too thin skinned in general. When most people ask for opinions, they're really asking for praise. They're all too willing to state their thoughts but the second that someone disagrees with them, they become confrontational and argumentative. When they're losing an argument, they become defensive and hostile and resort to personal attacks. Most people can't handle being challenged or stepping outside of their comfort zones, because they're pretentious and complacent. I believe that if your beliefs can't stand up to criticism, then they're not worth having. If you're not even capable of defending your position how are you ever going to grow as person? We're stuck in a loop of infinite regression and we try to enforce concepts like political correctness and take offense to everything using the herd mentality to silence challenge and reinforce our own insecurities. I get down voted on here all the time, because I say what has to be said. Most of the people that down vote me don't even make an attempt to explain themselves and that kind of reinforces my point about the herd mentality. The ones that do try to argue, eventually just resort to using caps and telling me to "leave them alone" and saying that they "don't care" when they realize that they're wrong. I'm not going to tiptoe around anyone else's selfish insecurities, because I refuse to be a victim of complacency.0
