What Guys Said
I rarely date because I'm picky about who I date... I've had my heart broken many times, and yet again about a month ago by the most amazing girl I've ever met... Instantly friendzoned because she now says that "you know the kinds of guys I date," meaning Latin and black men... when a few months ago she said she'd date a white guy if the right one came along.
We haven't talked in a month after getting really close.
Unfortunately I've never been in love :( But I did like this girl once, I've never felt nothing like that towards any other person, I don't think it was love, but it was a strong feeling. I screwed up even when I knew she liked me, so I was devastated for a long time.
I wouldn't say I got my heart broken since I don't think I ever loved her, but it still was tough to deal with.
I can't say I have personally. If a girl does something that would cause me to feel heart broken, then I move on. I'm not somebodies play thing, and neither should anyone else be. If you don't have the confidence to realize that some people just aren't meant to be with you, then you're only letting yourself get hurt.
I fell in love with a girl from Texas. A long distance relationship wouldn't have worked. She was chasing me. She kept breaking up and getting back together with me. I couldn't take it anymore. I dedicate "We Are Never EVER Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift to her!
I fell in love again with a girl closer to home. She and I went to my senior prom. Then later, I found out she cheated on me! She ripped my heart out. I dedicate "You're No Good" by Van Halen to her!
Interesting story. I like how used humor to tell it.
Got my heart broken when I was 17... the first girl I really ever went out with. We worked summers together, and she was 19. She was from another town and only came up during the summer. She tried several times to get me to give it up to her, but I held my ground. lol
Anyway she moved back to her town, and I decided to drop by to a party that she was having at the end of the summer... I met her usual boyfriend at the party. Needless to say, it was a disappointing outcome.
I think the broken heart leads to many guys becoming garbage players.
I will not relent and turn into such a guy! I'm sure I'll find someone who appreciates the efforts I put into pleasing them to the point where they also put in effort to please me.
I know I've definitely had my heart broken. I know girls can have their heart broken as well, but sometimes it does feel like they don't really care and just make it look like they are heartbroken to gather sympathy from those around them... and then they just move on like nothing happened.
Guilty.
Yes, that hurt really bad. We were together for 2 years and she got a job and pretty much told me she didn't have time for me, I pressed her on what she meant she pretty much told me she wouldn't even take 15 seconds to text me and that we should break up. But it hurt even more when I found out she was with some guy she meet there at work.
I've been there. The girl cheated on me and it felt awful because I really, really loved her. And don't say guys are not emotional. I never cried or said anything but it I was disconnected from the world for months. It's like going on a bad trip that you can't go out of, terrible.
Well, I think most guys have experienced heart break at some point. But as far as not having emotions, that's not true. Men do have emotins. But when men simply "feel" something, they can mistake it for love.
The most common feelings I'm referring to:

Infatuation
Possessiveness
