Would guys get put off the girl they like by what their friends think of her?

This guy has apparently said that he thinks I'm really attractive and he talks to me sometimes, but I've never considered myself attractive and I'm pretty sure that his friends think I'm ugly (lol). Once he starts to talk about me with his friends, do you think their comments would put him off dating me because it would be embarrassing for him? I'm worried that his friends would make it obvious that I'm a joke and he wouldn't want anything to do with me anymore. Their ages are 18/19 years old if that would make a difference.

What Guys Said 5

  • Yeah, guys take their friends opinions into account. On the same note however, a good friend won't usually put down another friend's love interests. (We are, however, obligated to point out if someone is psycho.)

  • I think age might have an impact younger guys are more susceptile to friend/peer pressure.
