I'm 15, and single, but I would say that my age is a decent time to start. Maturity is also a good factor. For example, a kind, responsible 15 year old person would be more fitting for a date than a immature, rude, dirty, and irresponsible 21 year old, regardless of the age difference.

My sister started dating age 16 and my cousin who was like a sister to me
she went on birth control age 14 and started dating you can't be too careful.
15 and above.
16 for hanging out, 17 for going out, and 18 for having sex.

16 or so. When you have a drivers license and don't have to rely on others for rides.
17 or 18, most kids aren't ready for that sort of responsibility, thats why teenagers only date for two weeks at a time.
21. There is no point in dating before then aside from sexual pleasure.

My parents' rule was 16 and I'm happy they made me wait so I learned to focus on school.
Until you have a job and a car to drive around and pay for dates. So you don't have to rely on your parents.
