Well it’s pretty obvious when a relationship becomes abusive. Your partner becomes more easily annoyed, angrier, reacting to anything that might seem wrong to him/her. Usually abuse starts verbally so he/she will snap at you frequently, yelling profanities or insulting things that might hurt you. If the situation is bad, the verbal abuse turns physical, and that doesn’t necessarily mean beating you to a pulp and sending you to the hospital, although it might reach that stage. They might shove you a lot, grab you harder than usually, leaving small bruises here and there, or they might slap you. A relationship starts becoming abusive when your partner hurts you physically or emotionally, so as soon as you see the signs you need to break it off.0
