What's the difference between falling for someone and falling in love with someone?

In my opinion...'falling for someone' has more to do with physical attraction based mostly on looks, whereas 'falling in love with someone' implies you love them as a whole package.
This is just something I came up with, so it may be pretty lame. Who knows? :P

No clue, falling in love sounds more serious, but aren't they the same thing basically? O_o

it think "falling" for someone is starting to really like omeone. love is basically the next level. when you "know" for sure that you like everything about the other person (even the bad things).

They mean the same to me. "Falling for someone" is just another way (a shorter way) of saying you're "falling in love" with someone.
Just my 2 cents!
