Why do people hate unstable people?

Why do people tend to hate people who change a lot? like change jobs, or change countries? or chnage friends? why do people tend to get annoyed and suspicious? do people view it as untrust worthy?

  • I don't think people hate you for changing jobs and traveling to a different country. But if you change friends all the time, then that gives people the perception that you don't value their friendship and time so why should they value you? Of course we want to be with people who are reliable, dependable, and trustworthy. Who would want to invite an unstable/ flaky person to their birthday party if you're just going to cancel at any minute and mess up the catering count?

  • It's just annoying, it gets irritating when someone can't stick to something. But then again, it kind of does show your interest in more than one thing.
