Why are people with graduate degrees so frequently stuck up?

I'm not accusing everyone, but I find this pretty common. They act like they're above the world.

  • I know right! They think they know it all and don't need to listen to anybody else

  • They ain't above shit. Hell with my little 2 year degree I could be in the same ballpark as some or most of them pay rate wise.

  • Sunk cost fallacy. They want to believe it wasn't a waste of time and money.

  • They just feel that they accomplished more I guess. I would view it as looking at all the people who complain about not making enough money at their jobs and having a shit life and then seeing that they had the choice to fix that and go to college and did not, so I fluff them off and their complaints because I know I took a better route and they have no room to complain.
