I don't even know how to answer this to be honest. It just scares me a lot

That's too huge a question. I can think of 100 ways to describe what love is to me. Love is when you can sit next to someone, and not do anything and be perfectly happy. Love is when you value another persons happiness over your own. Love is when you can see all of their imperfections, and still view them as perfect. Love is when you ca have spent the whole day with them, and soon as they leave you already miss them.

This might be a crazy odd example, but my now married friend was going through what would turn out to be a major health crisis when she was dating her then boyfriend (soon to be husband), but before she was diagnosed, she was telling us about how in the middle of the night she had woken up because she had vomitted all in their bed and on him, and she was crying and hysterical and embarressed about it, and he didn't freak out. He just basically picked her up from the bed, and took her to the bath and helped wash her off and reassured her that things would be okay and it wasn't a big deal, stuff happens. I mean, if someone can vomit on you... the wife, the baby, your parents, and you're loving about them and it because you love them, that to me is love, because most would be out of there, you know what I mean.
I think it's when you are truly putting the needs of your partner before yourself and you actually sit there and want to be a better person for them and do for them things you'd never do for another. It's knowing you can't or don't want to live without them, and even in your most pissed off moment, you know you still want to be with them.1
