Dictate the direction of the conversation at first so it doesn't go there. Usually someone only asks how old you are in the beginning stages of conversation. That's when people generally knockout name, age, job/school, where you're from and so on. If you lead and lead with more interesting conversation it will never go there and he won't think about it or really care.
Unless you're like 16 or look like you could possibly be 16. Then that might be in the back of his mind the whole time and he ends up asking anyways, because as a guy you have legitimate concern to know a girl is of legal age.0
