I've been dating my girlfriend for 5 years. We were high school sweet hearts and I really love her and see myself being with her forever. But, there's this girl I've know since like middle school. She's always been my best female friend and we hang out anytime we are home from college. This girl was my first love, but we never dated. I was head over heals for her Sophomore and Junior year of high school, we flirted and talked a lot but nothing ever came of it. We're still great friends and hang out a lot, but ever since I started dating my girlfriend (who is one of her good friends) there's something that doesn't feel right. I brought it up to my buddy and he said that even he can see there's a palpable tension between her and I. Should I say something to her? She's a great friend and I don't wanna lose that but i also want to know if she ever had or currently has feelings for me.
