Why do men want photos?
Just as each person's personality is different, so is their approach to relationships. In today's technological age relationships, it is quite common for men to ask for photos, but the reason for this depends on the circumstances or the character of the other person.
When it comes to why some men may desire or request photos, there are several reasons to consider.
You know, photos can help you feel closer to loved ones, whether they are a spouse, family member, or friend. Men might remember about shared events and appreciate such memories by looking at images.
Like many people, men can appreciate the beauty and aesthetics captured in photos. It's often for people to be drawn to visually appealing images, whether they involve landscapes, artistic compositions, or even portraits.
Photography offers a means to capture significant moments and freeze them in time. Men, like anyone else, may want to preserve important events or milestones, such as birthdays, vacations, or achievements, so they can look back on them later and share them with others. Photos have a special ability to portray emotions, thoughts, and experiences. Some guys may use visuals to express themselves or to explain ideas that are difficult to articulate verbally. It can be a creative way for them to visually express themselves.
Additionally, in today's digital age, sharing photos has become a common way to connect and engage with others. Men may want to share photos with their friends, family, or broader social networks as a way to share experiences, stay connected, and foster a sense of community.
Why do men want open photos?
Well, different people have varying interests, desires, and preferences when it comes to intimacy and personal connections. Some individuals, regardless of gender, may find open photos or content to be exciting or appealing. But, you should always keep in mind that human sexuality is complex and diverse.
The desire for open photos should always be consensual and mutually agreed upon between all involved parties. It is important to set clear limits and make sure that all parties feel at ease and appreciated.
It's also worth noting that not all guys or individuals are interested in explicit or open photos. Preferences, like any other facet of human behavior, can vary widely from person to person. Stereotyping or generalizing about a gender's aspirations is neither accurate nor fair.
Just because a man wants open photos from you doesn't always mean that he's a very flirtatious man. Maybe he just likes you a lot and he only wants that from you. But in this case, of course, it's good to get to know the person and act accordingly.
Why would a guy ask a girl for a photo?
There can be various reasons why a guy may ask a girl for a photo. It's important to approach this topic with respect and without making assumptions.
Sometimes, a guy might ask for a photo to capture and cherish a special moment they shared together, serving as a reminder of positive experiences. In a friendly context, asking for a photo could be a way to celebrate their bond or to have a fun memento.
Additionally, in some cases, a man may be attracted to a girl and may ask for a photo as a way to appreciate her physical appearance. However, you should note that consent and respect are paramount in any kind of interaction between you and the man.
Both parties should feel comfortable and willing to participate. Communication and mutual agreement are key to maintaining a healthy and respectful dynamic between individuals. If you don't want to send any photos, don't evet let him put you under pressure to do so.
Why do guys want snapshots?
Guys, like people of all genders, may have various reasons for wanting snapshots or casual photos. Some common reasons could include capturing and preserving memories of special moments or experiences. These snapshots can serve as reminders of enjoyable times or events shared with loved ones.
It's also worth noting that the urge for photos can arise from a desire to connect with others and share experiences. Photos have become an essential aspect of social interactions in this digital age, allowing people to visually communicate and express themselves. Sharing photos can help to improve relationships, foster a feeling of community, and spark conversations and shared memories.
Maybe this man wants to feel like he is with you at the moment you are talking and he just wans to know what you look like at that moment in order to feel like he is with you. In such a case, I think requesting a snapshot is such a cute demand.
Are men impressed by the photo?
People's reactions to photographs are impacted by personal taste, individual interests, and the context in which the photograph is presented. What one person thinks amazing or physically appealing may not be the same for another. Furthermore, it's crucial to remember that attraction and interest extend beyond physical appearances, with personality, character, and compatibility all playing important roles.
You should approach this topic without generalizing or making assumptions about men's reactions to photos. Each man has their own unique set of preferences and criteria for what they find impressive or attractive.
Lastly, whether a man is impressed by a photo or not depends on a range of factors that are personal and subjective to him. It's best to focus on building open and respectful communication, getting to know each other, and nurturing connections based on mutual interests and shared values. If a guy likes you, he will already find your photo impressive.
The man who says send a photo
The man who says "send a photo" has probably a personality that is both curious and appreciative of visual experiences. He finds joy and fascination in the power of images to capture moments and tell stories. He is someone who values connections and seeks to understand others through the visual medium.
His request for a photo is driven by a genuine desire to see the world from your perspective, to appreciate your unique qualities, and to create a deeper connection. He understands that a photograph can reveal emotions, memories, and details that words alone may not convey.
The man who says "send a photo" is probably a friendly and open-minded individual who sees beauty in the diversity of human experiences and believes in the power of imagery to enhance our understanding of one another.
If a guy you're flirting with or talking to asks you to send him a photo, he's probably very attracted to your appearance. And because he likes you, he might want to see your face all the time.

I also ask my girlfriend for pics bcoz I like admiring and keep watching her pictures whenever I am free it feels my mind feel relax and fresh,, he may be asking for following reasons
1) Mine reason
2) he want to showoff in front of his friends
3) he want to take advantage of your pic while making new girlfriend
4) he may be interested in looking your pics
Men are visually stimulated. We need to see you in order to express feelings. When we see a picture you just took, we can feel included in your life. Like we are there too. Experiencing whatever you are doing. As for what we do with the pictures after we stop talking to you. Probably delete them. Same goes for nudes. Some may save them. But its kinda pointless.
Because it makes it more personal, that he's connecting with THAT person and not just a screen. Guys are visual, they like looking at pretty things and in this day and age where pictures are so easy it's not a huge symbolic thing
Pictures of my face is one of my boyfriend's favorite things ever. I can't be with him all the time and he will be shipped out for basic training pretty soon so he's asked for pictures of my face and pictures of my family.

We want to see you even when we are not with you.
I've been exploring the reasons behind guys asking for pictures, especially in the context of romantic or platonic relationships, and here's a summary of my findings:
- Simple Desire to See You: Sometimes, a guy might just want to see your face or know what you're up to, particularly if you haven't met recently.
- Indication of Interest: If a guy is asking for your pictures, it often signals his interest in you. However, the nature of this interest can vary.
- Attraction: Asking for pictures can be a way for a guy to connect with your physical appearance, indicating he finds you attractive.
- Platonic Reasons: In some cases, especially among friends, the request for pictures might be purely platonic, without any hidden intentions.
- Flirting: If the connection is flirtatious, especially in online dating scenarios, asking for pictures could be part of the flirtation process.
- Genuine Missing: A close friend or someone you have a deep connection with might ask for your picture simply because they miss you.
- Context of Conversation: Sometimes, the flow of conversation might naturally lead to a request for pictures, with no specific intention.
- Seeking Something More Sexual: In certain situations, a guy may ask for pictures with the intention of seeking sexual gratification.
- Insecurity: In romantic relationships, sometimes requests for pictures stem from insecurity, with the partner wanting reassurance about where you are or what you're doing.
- Long-Distance Relationship Dynamics: In long-distance relationships, exchanging pictures is common and can serve as a way to maintain the connection and intimacy.
These reasons highlight the varied intentions that can be behind a request for pictures. It's important to consider the context and nature of your relationship with the person asking. Feel free to check out my post on Relationship Explained for more insights or guidance on handling such requests!
When I was on Tinder, if a girl wouldn't send pictures that she had JUST taken, I automatically assumed she either had old ass pics up and lied about her age, or needed time to take 500 to pick whichever one was at juuust the perfect angle to hide the fact that she weighs just as much as me and make her look like she weighs what a woman ought to weigh.
Fucked up thing was, even with a thorough screening and vetting process, I went to meet about 40 girls over a few month span, and walked away from at least, if not more than, half because they had STILL managed to trick me into seeing a fat who made herself look thin with angles of photoshop or wtfever women do to hide being a couch bison.
I'll send any pic from any angle all day. Nothing to hide, and I don't need to lie. If she won't do the same, 9/10 times, there's a reason, so the other 1 time is collateral damage to spare wasting my time.I'm glad they don't ask for reveling pictures, and I guess normal pictures are fine. BUT I do know someone who has had the WORST experience with sending pictures.
Her name is Angie Varona, at the age of 14 her photos that were meant to be sent to her boyfriend (who she is still with) leaked on to the internet. at 14.
Here's the link, I see you're under 18 so this type of thing is very important for you to know. link
She's just a normal girl, trying to please her boyfriend, wanting to feel pretty and... well, you'll see.Varies from wanting beat off material, down to genuine interest. There's asking for pics and there's asking to see. Like I'll have a text convo where a girl is describing something, then will end up sending a pic. Few times I've asked and each time I wanted to have a valid reason for asking.
Some guys are blunt and just want masturbation material or something to show their friends tho. So keep that in mind and use your best judgement. I've met plenty a guy who showed me pictures on his phone from girls I didn't want to see.First of all, ignore those who request multiple pics... thats disgusting, second who the f**k cares if he will not respond back later? That means he is not interested in you anymore (maybe he was bored at the time).
I personally only will request 2 kind of pic if I don't see any of her. First is a full body pic, second is a head to shoulder pic (never boob pic).
The reason is behind the full pic is because to see if she has any body disorder I can prepare myself on a meetup without any surprise.
And on the face pic I check if she is actually a guy or a girl (unfortunately there are girly guys whose have girlish "features"), and of course its nothing more beautiful than a girls face pic. =)Bro... see this is why girls are annoying af
People post endless pics on insta and Facebook etc... sending snap pics all day... and shit
When a guy asks for a pic —> all of a sudden it’s foreign to them... like gtfo here with that bullshit lol
Girls just wanna be brattyThey like to get a good idea of what you look like. I sometimes like to see what they look like today just to get an idea for the day you know? It's like I'm not THERE, but seems a little closer. Same reason why I'm fine sending regular pics if someone asked that I'm texting.
Blame biology, men are stimulated visually.
Personally I like pics of girls wearing different outfits. They don't have to be sex costumes, (although that is fun) just nice clothes. (I know I know, let the gay jokes commence) I also like seeing girls posing sensually or even just smiling at me :)Usually we ask for a pictures when we miss that person, we want to bind all the chats going on with the actual image of the person we are talking to, to visualize their reactions to the talk.
If he asked you about you pictures then they are still attached to you.
If you are not into the guy ask your picture, simply don't send itbecause they're horny. its gross and disrespectful of them to ask. do they ask for body shots or for face shots or what? I don't think its right for them to ask. if they want pictures and you guys are friends on facebook then tell them to check your facebook, but you don't have to give them pictures. its really random for them to ask. also, don't give them nudes because then you'll come off as slutty/easy/or whatever.
best of luck girl :)In my own experience, as I know a majority of men know, we're very visual when it comes to most things. My father and are very much the same in this department. If I don't know where or what place her talking about, he'll draw a map or give me street named and I can visualize it in my head which place he's referring to.
As for pics of girls... I am a visual learner and seeker. Probably why a lot of men watch porn or look at other women who they find attractive in public or wherever. We enjoy seeing things visually. If we can't get or don't have a picture... Its hard for us to depict what you are "selling". Unless you're very good as describing yourself in detail. I'm autistic and details matter to me... BIG TIMEWell first of all, asking a girl for pics is an attempt to flirt, and to smooth the conversation, to let the girls know we're interested, it's also a hint to knowing if a girl would flirt back, in general if she's not intrested she wouldn't send pics, or she would make it hard, but if she sends it's a good signe, that's why we ask for pics even if we saw you a million times or if your instagram account had 1000 pic.
Personnaly i like all kinds of pics, especially nudes, cause let's face it, we love nudes cause we're men.
I wouldn't do anything with the pics afterwards, maybe review them sometimes but that's allHonestly I think some guys see it as sort of a trophy or mark of achievement, I know guys who have archives (some of which are huge) of pictures sent to them by women they either dated, or met (IRL or online and managed to convince, coax, or seduce them it to send pictures.) I've never really seen the point though.
probably just to be sure it's you who they are talking to, and not some 'catfish'. You're attractive, so most guys are probably going to assume that you're really a guy who just googled "hot girl" and used the first image they found to lure men into letting him blow them.
Or, your pictures are low quality/don't reveal anything they want to see. Hard to say without seeing them..For me, to see if the person I'm texting is actually a woman and not some fat dude pretending to be a chick.
When a female is on GaG and I'm chatting with her...
...
...I ask to see a pic just because the chatting feels more authentic when a face can be put to the user you are chatting with.
I don't necessarily ask for one to be sent to my phone/email...just a link to a page (to a site such as tinypic) is all I ask for so I can see it (not necessarily "keep" it).
------------------------
Hopefully that makes sense. :)i usually don't ask girls for pics unless I know they like me.
and most of the pictures I've gotten from girls are nudes, but I didn't really ask for them. or at least, I don't remember asking for them...
but if I ask a girl for a pic, just of her face, its cause I think she's cute and I wanna look at her pretty face.
so, you could take that as a complement.I have never once asked for a pic. received many but never once asked. just not me to ask for that. but some of the pics...yikes. good thing I am a decent guy. go no further.
I think it is sucky... bad manners. I absolutely hate it. I don't know why, but it makes me feel kinda disrespected...'thinged' like all I am is a piece of meat.
What do you plan to do with the pic, for one thing.
by the way I am told I'm hot... that's probably why I hate it.
