I'm sorry, but sometimes we only get one chance. It seems that is where he is at. A DM is supposed to be private. Maybe after a little time passes, he will come back around. Don't slam him with a bunch of messages. Wait for a while and then message him saying how sorry you are for what you did and it that it certainly won't happen again. Do not sound desperate. A lot of men don't like that including me. I hope you get him back since it's so important to you.
