No, if you act cool and chill around your crushs friend, he might tell your crush how cool you are. You also could get to know a bit more about your crush. But make sure not to get too close to your crush's friend cuz then your crush will be like "I ain't going with her cuz she likes my friend not me" give hints to his friend and your crush that you like him. If you stay in the shadows about who you like, you might never get the chance to be with him.
