Laxative prank on girlfriend: I'm the idiot she was referring to lol?

Using my girlfriend's account but I'm the boyfriend:

So my girlfriend posted about the laxative prank I pulled on her and I need some advice. She's still pissed at me for being irresponsible and I'm trying to make it up to her in a major way but need some ideas. I know it was a stupid prank but I just thought it would be funny because I've never heard her fart or use the bathroom and I wanted to get her comfortable lol. I knew she wouldn't do that sort of thing in front of me on her own so that's why I kind of forced it to happen lol :P I had no idea she would get that embarrassed & cry about it & I honestly feel bad. How do I get her to forgive me and stop feeling embarrassed? I already reassured her that I don't care about bodily functions and nothing she does grosses me out. We've been together for so long at this point & I'm surprised she still goes out of her way to hide her bathroom habits from me. It's just not a big deal to me because I really love her and don't care about that trivial stuff that she's so concerned about lol. What's a good way of making it up to her and getting off the hook? She doesn't know I'm posting this question so keep the hate to a minimum lol

I think that is one of the most childish things I have heard someone do to their partner.
for guys it's no big deal farting and taking big shitsand what not around the girl. but for girls it is because (a lot) of guys hold us to the standard that it's not lady like to fart or use the restroom around them ( I still don't get why guys think that)

pretty much do anything and everything she ask of you because your an ass for doing that

It's one thing to hear her fart. Laxatives HURT. They give really bad cramps and you still don't seem to understand that it isn't even about embarrassment anymore.

Yeah, she told me it really hurt and I keep apologizing but it doesn't seem to make a difference to her. I really do feel bad. I know it isn't about embarrassment but that seems to be the main thing she keeps bringing up. She's feeling a lot better today though so that's a relief

That's good. I think that you guys will be fine. Just make sure to look things up when you pull pranks so that you don't ever cause any physical pain. Unfortunately it's hard to gauge how you'll hurt someone up in their brain, but now you know.

My advice would be to go WAY out of your way and do something nice for her. don't be cheap, go all out.

I just wasn't thinking straight and fucked up. I shouldn't have embarrassed her like that. Yeah that's a good thought. I'll plan something really nice for my girlfriend and doesn't matter if I go broke as long as she's happy lol

She cussed me out & then eventually calmed down enough to talk to me. I have apologized but she isn't accepting my apology because she feels I'm no longer trustworthy (which I get). She knows I feel really bad for doing it but maybe she needs space? Or should I keep trying to make it up to her?
