Do older guys like virgins? Would you wanna marry one?

Question is simple enough. I'm 23, and a virgin by choice. I am the most educated virgin in sex I've ever met., though I have never had it myself, my boyfriends have all been horn dogs and educated me to the point where my sexually experienced friends ask me how I know so much, and even sometimes for advice. This means nothing except for the fact that my the third time I have sex I will be awesome at it.

Back to the point. The older I get the more I feel shunned as a virgin, and unfortunately I like older guys.

So the question is guys (especially 30-40) would you date a virgin, and even go so far to marry her?

I'm in my 30's and I wouldn't have any problem dating a virgin. One of the greatest things about relationships is the element of discovering new things together. What could be better than discovering sex from a blank canvas. Exploring, experimenting & discovering things almost for the first time again. To be able to teach & mold someone to what you like without past experience interfering and being able to learn what they like and want to try. What guy wouldn't want that opportunity.

I could understand not wanting a teenage virgin cause at that age they think they need to be good or know what to do cause they seem to think they need to impress to be good and not just be themselves. Where as girl in her twenties, while she may not be entirely self-confident, she will most likely have a better idea of herself and not be so nervous & be more open to trying new and different things. They'd more likely be, like you said an educated virgin, with ideas that they want to try, not just "should I do it".

So, in answer to your question. YES, I would date a virgin and even go so far as to marry her if the relationship went in such a direction.

The older I get the more turned off I get when a girl is a virgin. I want the girl to enjoy it and practice makes perfect. I wouldn't stop dating a girl because she was a virgin but I would not marry a girl with out a sexual realtionship. That may sound bad but I have learned that a bad sexual relationship can EASILY turn into a bad relationship.

Also, no offense, you don't know if you will be awesome at sex before you have it. Hell, I know girls that weren't virgins that thought they were awesome. they were lying or the guys they had been with where easily impressed.

But the bottom line is. the right guy won't care. If he has to have sex with you and you don't want to then he is not the guy for you.

At 39, I do not have the patience to deal with virgins, makes me feel like I am back in high school dealing with the same dating problems as I went thru with virgins way back then.  When it comes to sex and overall dating results, nothing can replace experience.  I am not saying go out and have sex with 10,000 guys now.then again, I wouldn't discourage you from putting out.but for men my age, it's like dealing with a barely legal girl.  I cannot speak for other men on the matter  but virgins for me at my age is quite undesirable.  The amount of experience varies but I prefer a woman who's been around a bit, and NOT just for sex only.  Believe me, the virginity image is fine when you are a teen but as an adult, it's overrated.

First off, Don't feel shunned for your convictions. You HAVE to stick with what You think is right for you.

Yes, I would date a virgin and even consider marriage if we got along well and were in love with each other. Though there would have to be a little/a lot of oral and hand play experimentation. Not necessarily any insertion but, at least some foreplay type stuff to see if we were compatible in that area. Sex is a big factor in a long term as relationship as is communication. So knowing each other and being able to talk openly about the wants and desires would be important. And don't worry about liking older guys, it's a common thing among women, as is older guys liking younger women. Not being rude but, I'd be happy to out with you and see where it goes.
