My boyfriend doesn't allow me to go on vacation without him? :(

My boyfriend works all summer and we can't go together this year , but I was on a trip with friends and I want to go with them again.

He said : don't go , you just came from one trip..why you have to go again? I don't like you to travel without me.

I tried to talk with him but he said his last word is "no"..

Do you really think it's wrong to travel without him?

of course you can go. he has absolutely not right to say no. he can disagree, he can be angry, he can be jealous, whatever, but he cannot prohibit you from going on vacation.

here's the reality; you got yourself a control freak. you will beak up sooner than later, so save yourself some time and nerves, and and it with him before you go on vacation.

Travel! Don't let someone dictate to you whether you travel or not. It's an experience that you can't do as much when you're older and I believe that traveling helps you to grow- you experience different places and cultures.

Why is it up to your boyfriend? Saying 'no' was being very controlling. You're not his child. Don't let a man control you, it happens to too many people!

yes.. just my friend who is already married said she understands him and her husband would not allow her to travel without him too, that's why I started wondering. But I don't see a reason why my boyfriend doesn't trust me .. I would prefer to go with him but just he can't.

I would be so annoyed if that was my boyfriend lol. He should want what's best for you, and traveling is such a great experience. People who travel become more well-rounded.

It's a shame that your friend's husband is like that. Relationships should be good for you, not restraining.

He is being overprotective and insecure. If he can't handle the fact that you are an independent person and not someone who will get dominated then you should leave that guy.

Save yourself some precious time by leaving him if he refuses to acknowledge the fact that you are an adult and you have the right to do things without him being in the picture.

I'm having the same problem! My mom and older sister are saving up for italy next year, but he's freaking out saying that he doesn't want to go 10+ days without me. I think you need to tell him that its important to you, and if he cares about you he will support you.

No! its an early sign girl of having a selfish possesive boyfriend. Break up with him while its still early. you wouldn't want him to have that not so good attitude when you are married.
