What do you do with your arm when cuddling?

I've always thought this is probably an easier thing for a man. You blokes can put an arm under your girl, embrace her in bed. Or, under her head. But... the girl...we can't do that so much! Imagine you're lying side by side. You both have an arm over the other. What do you do with the other arm? If you put it between you two, it's in the way. If you put it behind you, it's uncomfortable. If it's under you it goes to sleep. Short of sawing the damn thing off, what do you do with the extra limb!?

Lay on top of his chest.

He can hold you with both arms, and you can put an arm around his body, and the other awkward one beneath your cheek or around him as well.

for side ways, it's really difficult to spoon face to face, usually a fleshy tangle of legs and strange angles - most comfortably, you have to spoon, either him against your back or you against his.

If you really desperately want to spoon face to face, I curl both my arms into my chest and have him pull me into him, usually the leg over his hip will keep us locked into place. You can unfold one arm and hold his waist a bit as well.

Given your set up, her arm goes around my neck, both mine are around her. Or, if she wants to, wrap both her arms around me, like a hug, mine move down to her waist.

If she decides she wants her back to me, she guides me where she wants, keeps her hand there (if comfortable). Same goes for reverve (my back to her).

Most often, we each end up with a arm asleep. But much better than sawing them off. That is not an option...

I always embrace. But, she usually has other plans for my arms, or for my hands in particular. Like if I forget to put at least one hand on her boob, she will with iritation grab my hand and place it on her boob herself. Or sometimes she will place my other hand on her vagina. Then she goes to sleep in contentment.

Use it to eat popcorn, for one thing. Or curl it up on the other person's chest. There are so many possibilities.! I like to fondle her neck, myself.

The face to face cuddle?

How best to describe it... You know that greeting hug where the woman reaches up and wraps her arms above his shoulders and he reaches under her arms and hugs her back? You can do this in bed.

Most people default to spooning I think after a while.
