The things that just don't come up in everyday conversation.

-Talk about all the weird things about yourself
-share all of your strange habits.
-express your thoughts on heaven, hell, and beyond.
-discuss your interpretations of different countries, regions, and people.
-share your theories of different aspects of life, the things that help you get through the day. Spread some wisdom.
-express your theories on the true meaning of love.
-talk about your pet peeves.
-talk about what you like about each other.
There are SO many things you can talk about.
You just need to concentrate on things that will help you grow closer instead of keeping the status quo, or possibly drifting away.
And you can grow closer by simply strifing to understand each other in a way that no one else on earth does
because no one else on earth connects with you the way he does
and the seemingly irrelevant things you can find out about each other
give you more to love about each other.
Probably means you shouldn't be together anymore? It's hard to keep long distance relationships going. It also takes away some of your conversation material.
sometimes it's hard to talk to a person over text because you're not there with them. Sometimes its best to just have a short convo or catch up text to see how they are and what's going on and that is it. If you talk about just about everything over text..what are you going to talk about when you chill? Although if you have a lot to talk about when you hang out..then why can't you discuss those type of things when you're texting? anyways. just don't worry about it so much. =P hope it helps
You can literally talk about anything. How your day went, ask how his day was, etc., etc. I think what you really want to talk about is something interesting so the conversation isn't repetitive and boring. You can talk about the things that interest you. What you did with friends. Funny moments of your life with friends.
If you guys are so far away from each other - why not talk about what you guys did all day?
I would think coming from two different states, you would be hard pressed to find something not to talk about. Maybe you guys aren't as interested in each other as you initially thought.

well basically just talk to her like you would face to face . but try not not to be boring, us girls like to Liston too . the reason that she might be sending you short messages is probably because she feel like she might be talking to much. so don't stress talk about subjects don't change them all the time well I hoped this helped good luck.

I'm not too sure if she's interested in texting, but whenever you think its dying just ask her a question. Like if you find yourself say: "hahaha" follow it up with a question for her to answer. And expand her answers!
Weather she's not interested in you or she is just not a clever girl (sorry to say that). When someone's interested, conversation doesn't die.
