Does a guy friend like you more for cuddling and tickling you or cuddle just because he was cold?

So I have this friend who I met in a class few semester ago. He is really shy but very funny when we hang out alone. We hanged out after class and go to movies and make fun of each other all the time. So one day, he texted me out of nowhere and wanted to hang out so we went to the mall and walked around and he kept trying to push into people and walls. He is a few years younger then me and labels me as a cougar even though I'm not. So at the end, we decided to go to his house and watch movies on his bed. During the first movie, we werent that close to each other. So right when we started to watch the 2nd movie, he said, he was cold and pulled me in to cuddle. We cuddled the whole movie and night til 4am. I had my hair in a bun and he put his head right on my neck and his beard hair tickled. I'm very ticklish, unfortunately. So he started tickling my neck and back with his beard hair and making me squirm and squeal the whole time. Also, he lifted the bottom of my shirt and placed his hand on my stomach, Never hold hands or anything, but we cuddled really close. We are friends and talk now or then or once a month, our communication is weird. He is really shy but when we hang out, he's not and is touchy while making fun of me all the time. Note: we only cuddled just that once like 9 weeks ago and both are single.

So my question is does he like me more as a friend since we cuddled? or just cuddled because he was cold and just friends? Really shy guys are very confusing and I don't know what to think or say.. I'm ready for whatever happens.
