The other day this woman came up to me, saying I'd be perfect for her company, which as it turns out, is an agency that hooks up very wealthy men with "normal" girls
The office was very clean and proper, I didn't didn't seem sketchy and it's free so signed up. I'm just wondering a bit what kind of man would join a site like that?
She said that those men look for someone who isn't after their money. Well it's a little counter intuitive to join a millionaires dating site then isn't it? Why not go to a normal agency and not talk about money.
She said most men would be older than, I'd be fine with up to 35 and she said she has a lot of clients that fit that range. I'm just a little scared I'll be seen as escort or hooker. I don't want to be bought if you know what I mean?

Here's the deal: there are two kinds of millionaires: the ones who earned their money and the ones who inherited it or got super-lucky some other way.
There'a an abyss between these two kinds in terms of being able to function in the society, though obviously there are exceptions.
The guys who made millions since young age, tend to have both the street smarts and the business smarts. They hadn't had issues getting dates before they were millionaires, and they certainly don't now. You probably won't find any of them on that dating site as they are busy working and living life.
Then there are grandkids of millionaires, or lucky screwups, or guys who made millions but are so screwed up in the head that they can't function in a society on par with ordinary men - whatever the case may be. These folks are used to paying for stuff and it appears. A date with you is something they are willing to pay your site to arrange.
This brings the topic to the web site itself. Obviously the notion of a millionaire dating site is completely, 100% contradictory to the notion of looking for women who aren't interested in their money. Clearly they want to use their money to attract you but don't want you to have designs for it. That's what never marrying (or failing that, a prenup) is for.
I don't think anyone is there to hurt you any more than if you walk into a random bar. The web site mostly wants to use your photos to attract more millionaire clients and take their money - this is what that women is after. You may get a few nice dinners out of it (which is NOT a given - many of the millionaires are surprisingly cheap, so in your questionnaire be sure to put you are interested in somebody who works hard and plays right, rather than some frugal ass loser who'd lecture you about buying cheaper shoes and is hell-bent to die with more money what than he inherited (without ever earning a new dime).1
