How Would You Feel If a Woman Called You "Bud" When You Text Her?

I really think the guy I'm talking to has lost interest and is a player. He's lost interest because I refuse to go to his house on a first date. Anyways, he still texts me regularly, wants to know what I'm doing, and invites me to his various houses. How would it make you feel to get "buddy", "bud" in a reply in this situation? I'm all for more guy friends since that's what it's starting to feel like anyways!

What Girls Said 2

  • Guys hate it, trust me. Especially if there's any chance he may like you as more than a friend. But in any case, it tells a guy you just really don't see him as anything more than a friend, and even if he feels the same, it might just lower his ego.

  • I'd go with "homeboy"

But honestly, why not just tell him straight: yeah I'll come over, but if you try to sleep with me, I'm out.
