It's most likely nothing. A lot of guys that age (and, sadly, in general) believe that you shouldn't text or call a woman during the weekend so that you appear busy (kind of like the asinine belief that women have about making guys chase them). Don't jump to conclusions. He'll probably stop doing this when you two get closer to dating officially.
