Songs that make me cry: Black by Pearl Jam Lay Low by Josh Turner (OK, so I don't listen nor am I a fan of country music but my LDR guy tells me this song/music video reminds him of me and what he'd like for us so I get sentimental IF i hear/watch it)
Probably because, apart of being a beautiful song, it was maybe the most remarkable part of the first Rock in Rio. I wasn't even born yet, but everytime I saw this part of the Queen show in '85 I felt.. you know... emotional. Freddie was a truly special man:
Sweet, Fiver finger death punch :). While dont make me cry, Remember everything by them feel so very familiar.
Remember when I was younger I always thought this song called cry by lasgo (I think) was very comforting, but man then they banned the song cause it was "too sad" :(. Now that was sad!. jeez, silly though.
Don't by elvis. My old man's song he'd sing sometimes when he came back from the pub in a good mood. Played it at his funeral years back. I try and avoid it but it's caught me out a couple of times in the past
I feel that for anyone who hasn't seen Rocky Horror, that won't be too sad (though I still think worth a listen to! :P ) Uh, songs not Rocky Horror related are probably... I can't think of any right now :P
Wow that "Coming Down" video you posted is extremely intense and full of power... that video really goes there. Is intensely passionate and screaming style music the type of music that really speaks to you emotionally about serious issues? For me, only slower songs can do that.
It's hard for me to hear the song "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion. When my mother was diagnosed with a terminal illness while I had to be away for school, I would listen to it on repeat at my library cubicle. Usually I am terrible at remembering lyrics no matter how many times I've heard a song, but for this track, I feel every lyric.
