  • Many. As a longtime metalhead, I'd say my favorite bands from the 1990's include KMFDM, Fear Factory, and Soulfly.

  • Damn Yankees, Alias or 21 Guns. And some bands like Romeo's Daughter or Honeymoon Suite who started in the 80s but released stuff in the 80s. And of course Scorpions, they didn't sell out and they kept their traditional sound during the 90s as well, instead of becoming some silly Alternative Rock band.

On the other hand, Bon Jovi who were AWESOME in the 80s, during the 90s they destroyed themselves by following a shitty Alternative Rock direction, instead of continuing their Glam Metal/Hard Rock sound of the albums Slippery When Wet, 7800 Fahrenheit and of course their debut.

Fuck Grunge by the way. They killed 80s Rock culture.
