Had to make some reeeeeaaaaalllllyyyyyy tough cuts, so much great music in the 90s!👍Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Blink-182 all could have been on there, and I bet I'm forgetting a few more too.

  • Blink! I didn't listen to them much until the mid-2000's... but man, this song gets me feeling so nostalgic. Makes me think of high school... when times really weren't as bad as they seemed.

  • 1.) Nirvana
    2.) Smashing Pumpkins
    3.) Pantera
    4.) Goo Goo Dolls
    5.) Testament

That was harder than I thought. I have quite a bit of 90 bands I really quite like.

Pantera I would agree with more than testament. Testament began and made a mark in the 80s. Itd be like calling Metallica a 90s band. Not many people know pantera has been releasing albums since 83. I typically consider a band of a decade if they formed and made a mark in that decade. Maybe not formed, but started releasing albums

    • 3mo

@Jack32 Perhaps it is simply because Testament made a big mark in my life personally with their 90s material. I was introduced to their stuff with firstly Souls of Black as the starter point.

With that, I figure a band doesn't necessarily need to be exclusively be labeled a decade. It can be labeled multi decades.
I guess some of it comes back, again, to how one labels decades for bands.
