  • The Usual Suspects is a good movie - I think it is 1994 - I was talking about Hillary Swank earlier on Boys Don't Cry (1999) and Million Dollar Baby (2004) - Clint Eastwood "Unforgiven"(1992) - Mickey Rourke "The Wrestler" (2008).
    They are a bit before your time so you mightn't have seen them.

      I've seen million dollar baby but that's it but I love older movies they're so much better

  • Mostly Post Apocalyptic Movies, with some exceptions to "zombie" apocalypse theme movies. That and comedy movies and CGI or animated films.

    WALL-E is one of my personal favorites.

      Not really a big fan of the zombie genere, although Shaun of The Dead is worth it for the comedy combined with a zombie apocalypse movie.

  • I'd recommend No Country for Old Men. Its really good!

      @Yumix Howl's Moving Castle m8. That's my shit.

    • 2mo

      Ah fair enough. If you're not a fan of anime, I recommend Cowboy Bebop. Now there's an anime that non-anime fans can enjoy. Not saying you need to watch it of course, just saying :)

  • Check out Mechanic Ressurection or Speed. s1m0ne. Troy. Gladiator. Any Teminator movie. (2nd or 1st). Jurassic Park. Basically, any of the classics. Oh and I probably forgot to mention the better ones. My memory fails me again lol

      The first 2 Terminator movies are still the best if not the better of the entire bunch since they were fresh in the beginning. Everything else that came after the first 2 just aren't the same nor provide that same feeling like the first 2 since the original director and creator wasn't involved any with them. Although I felt somewhat obsessed and fascinated by the concepts of Nanomachines, "Machine Phase Matter" in the last Terminator movie.

      The whole transhumanism situation with nanites was just the only reason I actually enjoyed Terminator Genisys more than Terminator 3 and 4.

      I also find that I really didn't like T4, since Arnold isn't officially involved as he was in office as governor of California at the time.

  • my #1 most favorite movie ever made was the original 1953 "the war of the worlds".

      Another memorable one. I watched this sometime after playing the shareware version of Duke Nukem 3D since that game had a reference to this movie, as in one of it's levels there is a poster that you can walk right through it and it leads to a sewage disposal system, which is a concept borrowed from this movie.

      @Paris13 The "Based on Real Events" part for the Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie is actually a marketing thing, largely inaccurate, but rather they were more of "minor plot details" that were inspired by the crimes of real-life murderer Ed Gein. Happens frequently in Hollywood, they used the based on true events to try and give it a more shocking feeling or value to drive more sales and hope to attract and convince more viewers that this whole movie had happen in real life.

      Also watched Cast Away. WILSON!!! lol
