Agree or Disagree: The 1960s was the best decade for horror movies?

The 60s was a decade when blood and gore finally became more prevalent in horror movies (not that blood and gore are scary but it still means something) and became even more unsettling than other horror movies of the last 40 decades.

  • Gore movies aren't scary. They're just gross. It's like insisting your movie is terrifying because it has the most jumpscares no matter how boring they are.

What Guys Said 3

  • It depends on your movie here. You see the 70s 80s all have great horror classics even icons
    Examples
    Alien
    Friday the 13th
    Nightmare on Elm Street
    Aliens
Jaws (not really horror but gives a scary vibe)
    The list goes on
