What Girls Said 1

  • Gangs came first, then gangsta rap. I think it's cool how it got so famous when it's a reflection of their harsh reality. It does glamorize it which isn't great but no more than how Lana Del Rey glamorizes drugs and running away from your family to be a sugar baby to an old biker.

  • Yes it does, that's why their communities tend to have lots of gangs. The gang life is all most of them know about.

    • its ashame so many kids listen to it and think its cool.

  • its making it more entertaining i wouldn't say glamourise really, its like saying cowboy movies glamourise violence, they make it entertaining but its not like promoting anything

  • depends on the song, most of it is just about the struggle of their lifestyle, they may actually be speaking against it.
