Girls, how would you feel if a guy who you'd dated drew nude sketches of you?

First, a bit of context. At the moment, I'm an otherwise unemployed student/artist, who makes practically all his cash by doing sketches and selling them online. I went on a first date with this girl a few days ago; didn't make out or anything, didn't even kiss. And she seemed nice enough, so we've got a second date planned. But even so, her dress was still tight enough for me to get a good look at her figure and to be able to fill in the gaps with my imagination. And I've drawn a few nudes of her already, placing her in a variety of increasingly slutty poses. Here's an example of the kind of pictures I've drawn of her, and the way in which I draw:

But filling in the blank patches a bit more. And including myself in one or two of them as well, kissing and making out with her (haven't quite gotten around to drawing a sketch of me having sex with her yet, but I'm thinking about it). I'm pretty good at sketching, and my sketches are photo-realistic, so it's pretty clear that the pictures are drawings of her- though I have total deniability, and there's no way for her or anyone else to prove that they are. And I have no intention of selling or publishing any of these drawings online.

So, girls: if a guy did this with you, and you found out, how would you feel? And what do you lot think that I should do now? Let her know about the pictures, and show them to her? Alter the faces of the girl in the pictures a bit so that it isn't recognisably her, and then sell them? Keep the pictures as my own little secret, and use them as fap material? Or destroy them all, and never draw any sketches of that kind without the girl's consent ever again?

Well, I must say that the girls' responses thus far are refreshingly positive. Thanks!

  • Drawing accurate depictions of someone whilst they are naked and unaware is creepy. It's an abuse of trust. If those drawings could prove beyond reasonable doubt that you must have seen her naked to be able to draw them then they might as well be photos. I think that it's wrong and a little disturbing.

The fact that you mention having deniability speaks volumes already. You pretty much know that this is shady.

    • I haven't seen her naked though. I haven't even seen her underwear yet- haven't even done anything more intimate than hold her hand for a few seconds. I've merely imagined them, using her figure as a base template. Is imagination a crime? Is drawing a sketch of my sexual fantasies of what I imagine someone's naked form might look like, in my idealized mind's eye, really a violation of that person's trust? And if so, how is it any more of a crime than merely visualizing them in my head, as so many others do, without putting pencil to paper?

    • Okay, apologies, it wasn't clear to me that you hadn't seen her naked, hence these drawings are fiction and are only photo realistic as far as the face and the approximate figure. They don't show any particular features of her naked body. In that case, it's less disturbing. However, she might not view it in the same way, she may well be creeped out. It is not too dissimilar to taking a photo of her head and putting it onto the body of a naked woman. Who knows, she may be flattered but then she might really not be flattered. I would say that you make damn sure that the pictures are never seen by anyone, then at least you have some kind of integrity.

  • I drew a semi nude sketch of my girlfriend (before she was my gf) and showed it to her and hinted the resemblance. she kinda liked it, i mean she's my girlfriend now and although I haven't asked her how she felt at the time but I am just saying by observing her response. Anyway, I'll ask her tomorrow she's asleep now.

  • Had it been just what you posted minus the buttcrack, it would be flattering - you're super talented and that drawing is gorgeous. But the fact that you've only been on 2 dates and you're already drawing her nude in "slutty poses" and with you in them kissing her and now thinking about drawing you two having sex, that's creepy and a huge red flag.

    • Well, most of them are just half-done, outlines only. So I could easily discard the unfinished drafts and dial it back a notch. And yes, I admit that I'm thinking about drawing me and her having sex. Why? Because I've started thinking that it'd be nice if I could have sex with her (something which most guys will start thinking about a gorgeous girl after the first couple of dates with her), and because imaginary scenes are easier to draw the more vivid, intense and sensual they are. Is it creepy that I've started looking at her, not just as being sexy in her own right, but as someone I can fantasize about having sex with myself?

    • And what course of action do you feel that I should take? Show them to her (some day, obviously not yet), change the face details so that it's not recognizably her, keep them to myself and store them away, or destroy them all and not draw any more without asking her to be my subject first?

  • I think its dope and sweet in a way, that's a cool talent first off and I would be flattered. I think you should start off showing the more innocent ones your relationship progresses. Otherwise do the selling thing

  • It's creepy, especially if you only went on a couple of dates with her. But your drawing is nice. Just try to focus it somewhere else maybe

  • Very flattered :)

  • I'd be flattered.

  • it would be fine with me if I was older and if they had my consent. I would need to know what poses too.

  • This is a weird grey area, since taking a picture of your date naked is illegal and immoral, but drawing a semi-accurate depiction instead is fine and dandy. Eh?

  • Do you draw them from just your imagination and memory or from pictures as well? If they're too real, don't sell without permission. Very nice work. No one has ever drawn me yet, it would be nice.

    • *draws stick figure of you* :P

    • @Toad-1 purrr purrr ^. .^~

  • That is an awesome illustration.

  • Flattered if he drew it nicely, since I draw stuff too. He'd probably have to model for me too xD

  • If it gets more serious, I would show them to her but since it's just the first date, I would probably not tell her yet. Don't sell them, but you could keep them if things go south.

  • You better draw me one day 😋😂

  • I think flattering would be how I'd feel. This varies on how good they are at drawing though, as bad as that sounds. If they stink at drawing and try to draw you naked, you'd look like shit, so I'd probably say "thank you!" and be flattered they cared but definitely not be overjoyed at all because the image sucked. If they were a good drawer, I'd say "WOW! You drew that? Thank you!" and I'd be flattered they cared and overjoyed becasue it came out really good

  • I think for me personally I wouldn't care as long as they weren't very suggestive. I very much enjoy art. However, I'd hope he keep them private.

  • I'm from a super small country so if anyone found those they'd know its me. I wouldn't mind being the inspiration, but I would appreciate if I'm made unrecoznizeable.

  • I would be flattered

  • Kinda flattered, I guess.

  • I have been sketched nude.

  • I've been sketched.

  • I would like it, but I wouldn't like if the sketches where shown to the public

  • I would feel violated and disturbed if you didn't ask for permission and put my face on a naked body. Surely you can see why this might be creepy?

That said, you're pretty talented. I actually like that drawing quite a bit

  • Is her butt really that low on her body?

    • Well, it could be if she were tall enough. And if you look closely, she's actually wearing a thong, so that makes her butt look just a teensy bit lower than it actually is. But TBH, that was my biggest gripe about the drawing too. Couldn't do anything about it though, not when I'd used colored pencil for that part; had to just work around it.

    • Well, it's still really good. Did you just use colored pencils? Anyway, I don't think I'd feel comfortable with drawings that show more than this though. Especially not ones that show sexual behavior, because girls want to be seen as more than just sex objects.

  • Wow that's creepy!
Girls may say it's OK, but if it actually happened to them, they would be like majorly creeped out. You can claim you wouldn't sell them online, but would any girl in her right mind believe you. This is just a few steps short of Ted Bundy weird.
