Now I have written a take about why I do *not* want to have my own kids and although I still do not want my own kids, I would honestly really adopt multiple kids.
I completely understand that some women want to have natural child birth and pregnancy for their kids.
I personally believe it'd be more beneficial to adopt children, especially the older ones.
I love to help people and maybe if I can influence a young person's life without being the one to have fucked them up in the first place...that would be an amazing feeling for me. Kids of 12+ rarely get adopted and go through the foster system so much I would take in every child I could, loving each one of them as much as possible.
I understand if I ever marry, my spouse may want a kid of our own. I would include the adopted kid(s) in on my decision to have a baby or to wait.
I just personally do not find pregnancy to be beautiful, let alone a good experience. Maybe if I have a baby at 35 I'll think differently.
I don't want to deal with the belly fat, stretch marks, mood swings (I have depression, that isn't gonna be easy) achey feet, more back pain.
I am all for everyone else having kids, as long as you take care of them. I'm glad other people find pregnancy beautiful I just don't.
Besides, I'd rather be a step mom and treat the kid amazingly than have my own kid at the time.
I understand I *may* change my opinion eventually, but this is my choice and I'm not gonna allow anyone else to dictate what I do.
