Is it wrong to cuddle with your best friend if she has a boyfriend?

My best friend and I have always indulged in platonic cuddles. There used to be rare occasions when we would get a little carried away, and it would go past cuddling (we haven't gone all the way, but close to it). Now, she has a bf, and we still engage in platonic cuddling, never going past it because she refuses to cheat, and I refuse to be a "homewrecker" XD. 9 times outta 10, she initiates the cuddles, so she clearly sees nothing wrong with it. Neither do I, but I was curious to see what you GaGers would say.

Well you said that you got carried away and went beyond cuddling once. Did you get a boner? I think that it turned her on big time, if you did. I understand why you would almost went all away. That's cool when she didn't have a boyfriend. I'm kinda wondering why you two didn't end up in a romantic relationship. I hope you guy's are strong enough to keep yourselves from getting hot for each other while being intimate that way. A situation like that is something I would avoid, because I wouldn't be able to handle it after awhile. If you two think it's the right thing to do, I have no business to tell you whether or not it is wrong. Just the fact that you asked the question, should tell both of you something important. You guy's are walking on dangerous ground. It would be safer (physically. mentally, emotionally) to end this activity. Now if you think you can handle the negative consequences, you will let this continue. I'm not giving you permission, but you sure as hell better keep this a secret.

Ummm... well yeah. I mean she does have a boyfriend now, so this is pretty strange behavior. Although at the end of the day its up to both of you, and if you guys are are alright with it, so be it. I guess what really does'nt make sense is your friend actually having a boyfriend then.

I'm sorry but cuddling is never platonic. You can keep telling yourself that it's platonic, but you're obviously attracted to her based on what happened in the past. People only cuddle with those they find sexually attractive, MAYBE close family members. It's a romantic act. Out of respect for her boyfriend you should not continue because it's not really fair to him, and eventually history will repeat itself. If you've gotten carried away before it's only a matter of time before your hormones get the best of you again.

There's nothing wrong with cuddling with your girl best friend! If y'all started cuddling before she got a boyfriend then her boyfriend needs to understand that nothing is going to happen and it's just innocent cuddling and that she wouldn't cheat on him! And if he doesn't understand that, she needs to break up with him!

Me and my guy best friend cuddle all the time and he has a girlfriend and when I did have a boyfriend we cuddled! I mean his girlfriend didn't like it at first but he told her that there is nothing between us and that I have been in his life longer than her and that if she didn't believe him she can get to stepping! If your not going to make a move on her then I don't see what the problem is.

I certainly don't plan on making a move. We see each other as siblings. I mentioned in the details that we'd get carried away sometimes in the past, but we always felt weird about it after.
