How come two people always come back to each other no matter what?

like I almost ended the friendship with my best friend (who is a guy) in Feb. and tried to avoid him and stay away, but he always came back and wanted to work it out. ( I had feelings for him, but he started to see a girl who is his current girlfriend) he'd show up at work, trying to get me to talk to him. he'd send me cute bumper stickers on MySpace, and text me asking if I'm okay.

then several months later we got into a argument, and we almost said ended our friendship. after almost two months, we couldn't take not talking to each other and worked it out. but during those two months we kept asking around of how the other is doing and he ended up snooping my conversations with my friends on MySpace.

and before we became best friends and knew each other. a girl from our work made up stuff almost ruining my reputation. he told me that he just couldn't stay away, he tried. but just couldn't stay away from me.

how come we always come back to each other no matter what the circumstances are?

we've known each other for a year. he has a girlfriend. but we always still end up come back to each other. we flirt, joke around, talk all the time, he has blushed around me all the time, and smiles a lot. we laugh all the time. we just always have fun no matter what (:

well that's genuine friendship isn't it? arguing strengthens a relationship because you care about the other person, both you feel to throw your opinions and views to each other cause you love each other whether as a friend or lover

Maybe the two of you are "meant" for each other. Or ya'll are just great friends who are meant to remain good friends no matter what cause ya'll friendship is just that strong.
