My mom spreads rumors about me to all the neighbors and her friends, ultimately burning my bridges, what can I do?

My mom talks really bad about me to anyone she meets. I don't know what to do because her doing this is painting me as a horrible person and it burns my bridges. No one wants to help me, no one wants to talk to me and I get outcasted my friends, family and neighbors. I mean I'm hearing the craziest things going around and it hurts that my own mom does this. She isolates me and makes me look bad. All I do is stay home and play video games, yes I'm a little lazy but I'm a good person (I haven't interacted with enough people to be bad). What can I do? And I can't move out just yet because I'm in a difficult situation where I am forced to eat out of her hand.

Maybe it's time for an eye for an eye as the bible says. Being you feel you have to Eat out of Mommy Dearest's hand as a man, with her rude and crude behavior of wagging her tough luck tongue to everybody in town, you begin your Own beguine with Anybody you can find, if it take a lifetime to clear your name and play her game.
Tell them just the opposite and while you are at it, tell them she is a bit off balance and probably going Through... Her Change of life and this makes women crazy.
She is right about One thing to be quite fair. You probably are a 'Little lazy' and 'Stay home and play video games. Even though she has no business making it Their Business and should keep it under One roof, Mother knows best about the rest.
Maybe it's high time to do something to end the madness. Find a job and save your pennies so maybe Then... She will have something worth while to say instead of blabbing to everyone under the sun about her... Sorry son.

Hmm I meant chores wise I am lazy.
I do work when I can find some but it's really hard getting work because my sisters and mom have gotten me arrested twice e. e
Also my eldest sister called the cops on me and got me sent to a psychiatric hospital when she was pregnant because I refused to eat with her at this restaurant (she doesn't like eating alone) so she called the cops and said I was "trying to commit suicide running back and forth in the freeway".
And it's hard earning money because she's very greedy, she takes a lot of my money so she can pay "rent" which she just spends at Victoria's Secret e. e
That's what I meant by I'm in a difficult situation.-.
I'm a student but she takes my financial aid and it's hard saving money because it either gets stolen by my sisters or my mom collects.

It sounds like it is really time to fly the coup and make it on your own. All you can do is keep quiet, do whatever chores, don't give them a silly reason of any season to call any cops and consider the source, they both seem to have mental issues... Perhaps if you could find a friend to stay with. xx

I don't have a dad but I her husband is in the same situation as me. She had a baby so he can't leave and also she takes all his money and only leaves him with $200 a month so all he could pay is his car.
I don't care much either but I find that as she talks about, less and less people are willing to help me.

I know but money is really really tight :(
I can't find a place that will hire me, any money I have get's taken, and apartments are really expensive, I don't have any friends and I've been homeless before and I don't ever want to sleep in the streets again :(

I understand. My mom is a bitch too, she kicked me out and said she didn't want me. I don't have an instant solution as I'm only 16 and still struggling myself but I know that all things get better eventually, just have faith <3

Moved in with my grandparents, got a job personal training and at a fast food place. I have a car and hopefully I'll be able to move out soon. I can't say I have a lot of emotions about my mom leaving me, we were never all that close and I'm probably doing a lot better without her to be honest.

There are so many ways to get out. Start trying to make connections. If you could go the route of personal training it's really not difficult at all to get your license. It pays a lot if you can PT out of basically any gym. After a while you'll have enough money to move out. I wouldn't know how else to make money to be honest, fitness is all I really know xD

The right connections. I'm involved in a martial arts association and they allowed me to get my license earlier than I should

I do. It always ends with her over reacting and telling me that she doesn't know what I'm talking about to her grabbing my stuff and trying to throw me out of the house. I tell her that I'm not how she portrays me and that she should get to know me but she responds that if I don't like it, then what am I doing here.

I find that what helps is to spend time around the people I hate, that's how I find out of what my mo says, they tell me that the more they see me they see that I don't look like a bad kid.
