How do I get revenge on a girl "friend" who broke my heart?

I have always liked this girl that I have been friends with for many years. I am 99% sure that she used to like me a while ago and it should have been really obvious to her that I liked her. Well here's the thing I was really wanting to ask her to prom but I can't because she is going with one of my best friends and the WORST part is that she asked him. I have been ignoring her ever since I found out because I couldn't deal with the fact that she had no feelings for me at all (even though she always acted like she did). Ever since I started to ignore her, she has seemed to get gradually more confused and mildly upset as to why I didn't want to talk to her.

She told one of our mutual friends that she thought that I was mad at her (which I obviously am) but I denied that and talked to her on that day just to get her from confronting me so it wouldn't be awkward. But I want her out of my life for good so I'm going back to avoiding/annoying her. Girls, please give me help with this: if you had a good friendship with one of your guy friends than what could he do to make you upset and make you realise that he doesn't want anything to do with you (I'm not trying to be a jerk, but trust me she deserves to get hurt)

It could be that she honestly didn't know that you liked her. Or if she did know, that she just doesn't feel the same way. From what you say, I would guess that she didn't mean to hurt you by this, and probably had no idea that you felt this way about her. We can be kind of clueless about the feelings of our male friends sometimes. That doesn't mean that your friend deserves to get hurt. I think you're taking this too personally, and that the only way to sort things out is to sit down with your friend and tell her (politely! ) how you feel.

I honestly don't think that she did this to hurt you or to break your heart. And I think that she deserves for you to at least tell her the truth. Lying to her and continuing your current behavior is only going to confuse her. If you wanted to go to prom with her, you should have asked her first. I can hardly blame her for asking someone else when it's this close to prom and she didn't have a date yet.

If I was a the girl in that position the best way to get back at me would be to continue talking to me while dating a girl that was as equally as hot as I am, and what you should do is get really close to her, show her what a gentlemen you are and then brag about how wonderful your girlfriend is give her every detail, tell her about all the nice things you do for her and the nice things your girlfriend does for you, but by all means never tell her about sex that you may have with your girlfriend or making out. You want to make her jealous as possible so be really kind and sweet to her. Let me tell ya! If it was me I would be so jealous that I'd prob cry and tell you to break up with her. Do things to your girlfriend that would give you a "gentleman with the ladys" reputation, she'll hate it and it would make her jealous and she'd be hurt at the same time.

second, she isn't your girlfriend, so she can go to prom with whoever she wants, she has no obligation to you

third, I think you are being incredibly immature.

fourth, if you thought she liked you back, she was probably just flirting a little too much. Girls do it all the time, we flirt with our guy friends because its fun. And a lot of times we don't even realize we do it.

I'm on this site to give advice, so if you want to make her jealous, start being best friends with a really cute girl. But think about how immature and selfish you are being.

Forget about her and in a few years she'll be fat and ugly and you will have your revenge :-) cause you'll be with a girl hotter than her ;-) Girls at this age don't realise their youth has a time limit they think they are aphrodite until some guy comes along "the one" and breaks their heart and they come crashing down to earth. Then a few years on from that they can't get guys to look at them anymore cause their hayday has been and gone and they are still single, fat, lonely and desparate. Then you will be laughing. If you can't wait that long sleep with her best friend but make sure you impress the friend so one night when they are both drunk and telling each other their naughty little secrets she will blab on to her girlfriend how good in bed you are :-)

You are trying to be a jerk. Don't do anything. At the worst just avoid her, and don't do anything more. You are over reacting. She didn't try to hurt you; she has the right to do whatever she wants. Don't try to deliberately annoy her; that is very immature.

If you don't like her anymore then avoid her. But you probably lost a lot more than she did: a good friend. This is nothing to break a friendship over.

Umm I think you should be mad at your best friend not her. Why is he going with her doesn't he know you like her? Girls are not mind readers or physic any more than guys are, so unless you said to her I like you she probably didn't read the signs that way or just thought you were a flirt. Usually if a guy is in the friend zone for most girls that's where they'll stay. Don't blame her for not making a move. Maybe you should just tell her how you feel. As much as it may seem like she flirted with you sometimes girls send out the wrong messages.

Wut I do when a boy brakes up with me is talk to a lot of boys and I make sure he sees that. I also make sure that im laughing when he is around so he doesn't think he broke my heart even though he really did. And I also try to get a boyfriend asap so he knows I've moved on.
