First of all, if someone who isn't a senior, gets invited to the senior prom, I would 100% go. You will appear cooler to most of your class (2011). If for whatever reason you don't want to be cool and have a senior girl as your date, then just explain to her what you said here. It appears you don't hate her, you just don't feel comfortable or you are insecure about going to a senior prom as a person who is 1 year younger than everyone else. Trust me, there will be people younger than you there, it happens at my school all the time. So I would go, but honesty is the best policy, if she is your friend, she will understand. If you don't have feelings for her, don't break her heart, just tell her that you don't to be the odd one out and see what she says.
Just nicely tell her you are busy that night, your parents have something and you have to baby sit your siblings or something, etc, just don't turn someone down and go with someone else like I did once :/
i don't think there is. but in case anybody does, you should tell her right away.
