So bottom line, my younger brother is highly influenced by my older brother. So much so, that he does not see anything wrong with the actions of my older brother even if they are really shitty actions.
My older brother is a typical musician. He is so blindsided by his ego that not many people talk good about him and he himself does not see how he treats people. He thinks it ends well. He's the type of guy that turns every conversation into a debate somehow.
Moving on, my younger brother has picked up many of his bad habits. You could almost say, he is living through my brother. Likes same music, likes same instrument, talks to friends in the same argumentive way. Thinks cussing makes him sound like an adult. Has become very close minded by following my brothers foot steps.
He thinks its okay to have that same mentality and I don't know how to open his mind from that anymore. It is not a good example of what a mature adult should be. My little brother only has two more years left of high school.
My older brother, doesn't have a job, is only taking 2 classes this semester, doesn't help out pay rent or even clean and spends his spare time playing video games or sleeping or never home.
I dont know what to do. I know some will day to let him learn, but my younger brother had so much potential and its just sad to see him try to BE my older brother. I want him to learn who he is himself.
