Sleeping in the same bed - can it really be platonic?

There are a couple of friends in our group of friends that are rooming in a one-bedroom apartment right now (because of $$ issues and stuff). It's a guy and girl. I have crush on the guy, and we've flirted. BUT they sleep in the same bed every night and he swears its platonic - I'm not sure I believe him...is it possible?

It maybe platonic, but it would make me uncomfortable. It seems weird, I mean how hard is it to get a mattress to sleep on the floor with or to simply sleep on the couch. The easiest way to tell would be to see how she acts around you if you start flirting with him. If it's more than a platonic relationship she will definitely make her stake in him known. Good Luck!

My best guy friend spends the night at my house, and we sleep in the same bed...and he has a girlfriend. I don't think it's right on his part, but I don't know. I guess it can be platonic, but I would be careful! If he seems like he's being honest, go for it. Eventually he'll be sleeping in your bed anyways :p
