Why does a guy talk to me in a baby voice?

were talking and flirting, out of the blue changes his voice to talk like a baby or little kid in the middle of the conversation/flirting. Is he trying to be playful, or is he just odd? he's 19 years old. Has this happen to anyone else or do you do it and why?

Hmm, what do you mean by baby voice? Do you mean like baby talk, or just a higher pitch? If you are talking about baby talk, that's a little crazy. If you mean having a higher pitch, he could be exited or be mimicking you without knowing it. People mimic others body language and vocal tones when they like them. I have a very deep voice, but when I'm around children, my voice does adjust to a higher pitch unknowingly. It has to do with mood, and communication.

the voice is like a little babyish kid in the 4th grade, soft, and sad. examlpe: I get up to leave and he says" Your weafving aren't you" no mispelled word that is what is sound like how his saying it, I corrected him once when I wasn't leaving , He said " I did'nt say gooood Bye, I said byyyeeee" and slapped a balloon hanging from the ceiling, he says my name like that to, very drawn out .next sentence out of his mouth is normal. He never talks like this to any of the other girls.

Hmm, well some people have vocal tics. They may be speech problems, lisps, or even region accents. They may have trained hard to correct them, but when they get nervous, all the sudden they slip out without them knowing it. I've had girls get very excited and nervous before and a vocal tic would slip. One girl I knew would slip out certain words in a long island accent when she was nervous. She didn't even realize she was doing it. I thought it was kind of cute. =)

how old are you?..he must think of you as a kid..or think your kid cute...if it bothers you so much...have a cool convo with him and ask him simply " what's up with the baby voice when you are talking to me?"

18 in 6 weeks, he turned 19, 3 weeks ago, so about a year apart in ages, I don't think he thinks I'm a kid. the way the rest of the flirting is going. or let hope not or it got a lot stranger.lol. I didn't want to call him on it, thinking maybe its his "flirt game" and didn't want to embrass him, But I have never seen or heard anyone do this before,

no you shold tell him girl...cause it can help him in future and save other girls of hearing that baby voice...you can ask him about it in a calm and kind manner...how does it make you feel when he does it? is he cute enough to get away with it? lol...i think if it does bother you tell him...if you really like him...be honest with him :) gd luck chic
