Why do guys pass girls off to their friends?

Okay, so lately it seems that I hit it off with a guy and he has the quiet friend who just eye rapes you from the side...you exchange numbers with the guy you have been hitting it off with and text for awhile, but then somehow his buddy has your number and starts txting you. Maybe it is just me, but I seem to notice guys like to pass girls off to their buddies. Is this some kind of grenade thing (Jersey Shore) or what is going on?

I've tried to do it with a girl who just wanted to sleep with me but my buddy had been working towards her so he asked me to set him up. I tried but she refused to switch so I slept with her and told my buddy sorry.

Guys will go to greater lengths to hook each other up than girls will. I know you probably feel a little cheated since this has happened to me before. If you take a step back and look at it you have a brand new guy to get to know and maybe you will like him too.

Yeah, I feel pretty cheated...didn't sleep with any of them though. Just annoyed though grrr haha.

It's healthy to have fiends introduce you because the friend has already screened the girl and knows sh'es worthwhile texting and contacting. Take is is a compliment a guy wouldn't mention you his friends unless he had a good impression of you.

I was hitting it off with the one guy though and we exchanged contact info. His awkward, quiet (not attractive to be honest) friend texted me wanting to grab drinks. Obviously I don't see this as a compliment...seems like I am a piece of garbage the one guy thinks he can just pass off to his buddy haha.

He didn't mean it that way...Don't be angry just because you don't like his friend. Most guys don't pass girls off to get rid of them as the best answer person claimed. It's usuallly more of a compliment.

I haven't talked with the guy I hit it off with since then though...only his friend has even bothered. I don't want to seem annoying/desperate by trying to contact him, especially since I feel he doesn't like me. I want to ask one of them about this situation...think I should or what? You're welcome...most of us aren't mean and disrespectful. Most of the time this is meant well, even though it doesn't always work out that girls like our friends!

No girl should allow this. Guys pass girls they don't really like off.like say he's already been with you, his boy wants to see what you're like in bed

Or if you haven't slept with him, he just didn't like you and passed you off to get rid of you

Either way guys generally talk sh*t about and don't respect the girls they pass off. I'd recommend once you talk to one guy, don't entertain anyone in his clique because they don't mean you any good.

Because girls do it to guys, too. Before I was married, I don't know how many times girls I liked tried to pass me off to their friends (who I wasn't really interested in.)
