My boyfriends friends saw me half naked, did I overreact?

My boyfriend and I were fooling around in my basement, and we knew his friends were coming over, but we thought we would hear the doorbell ring or they would call. So we continued messing around and I was completely naked except for my underwear, whereas he had his shirt and pants off. Suddenly we heard voices outside the basement door and my boyfriend had just enough time to put his pants on and go meet them and I just grabbed my bra (closest thing to me) and hid behind one of the chairs (I know, probably not the smartest thing). So I put my bra back on but I thought they were coming in and I didn't want to make a run for my shirt, in case they saw me.

So three of my boyfriends friends just waltz on in and there I am in my bra and underwear and I'm yelling GET OUT. So they leave and I hurriedly put my clothes on and go outside, and I'm thoroughly embarrassed and humiliated and so I asked them to leave..

Did I overreact? My boyfriend was kind of put off by my behavior, he said he gave me like two minutes to put my shirt on and cover myself. I think he thinks I did it on purpose. I feel terrible and embarrassed. What do I do?

Yes, you way overreacted. You're an adult, not a 13 year old little girl. It's a little embarrassing if your boyfriend's friends accidentally see you in your underwear, sure. But yelling at them and making them leave because they accidentally saw you half naked is really dramatic...

Idk, what you should do now, lol... I guess apologize and admit that you overreacted to your boyfriend. If he wants you to apologize to his friends you should, but I don't think an apology is necessary to them unless he wants it... Just show them that you're not dramatic and childish by not behaving that way anymore, and eventually they won't care anymore.

How did she overreact? She didn't want them to see her like that. It's okay to panic and yell at them to get out so they won't see her. It would have been inappropriate if she yelled at them afterward, but she didn't she just asked them to leave because she was embarrassed.

And she shouldn't apologize. Her boyfriend should apologize for being rude and not understanding where she's coming from.

Yes you overreacted you weren't naked so what's the big deal? You were covered up? You need to relax! I'm sure his friends have seen more than you showed them! I mean they left the room like you asked but to ask them to leave on top of that wrong move! His friends are gonna hate you not and they will tell your boyfriend they don't want to be around you! And it may not end well for you! Because guys listen to their boys!

No I'd say the same thing! You were nervous and your adrenaline was probably rushing through you so I'd say not. I have a good body but I hate people seeing it I'd probably cry of embarrassment! It will be funny in a couple years I bet :)

A bit of an over react. If you think about it they saw you in nothing different than a bikini which you would probably wear on a beach for all to see. I have had my boys walk in on an old girlfriend riding me without any covers on. My girlfriend was embarrassed but that is a little different.

I think your guy could have headed them off before they walked in but it wasn't too bad of an exposure from my point of view.

Maybe a little bit ya, especially if he gave you a couple minutes. Next time I'd yell up wait a minute! Also, for the future ask your boyfriend to call down and ask before letting them down.

Natural in the moment to react as you did if you are ultra conservative. Do you only wear a one piece swimsuit? was the underwear micro and or sheer? Asking them to leave completely is where it falls apart but easily explained due to embarrassment... you could apologize if you want but as long as you act cool and they all do too in future it should blow over. Laugh about it in a few months, I bet! Alternately you could learn to be a little more confident and accept that guys want to admire you and your assets. I'd have a conversation with the boyfriend to see if he was hoping you might be seen and make his friends jealous, or whatever as this is something some folks are into.

I did blow up at them in the heat of the moment, but I WAS embarrassed... and they were so nice about it, his friends apologized and everything.. it was just my boyfriend who told me I should've been covered by then

Lol, it was an accident. It wasn't like they were peeping in on her or something. She should've just asked them to give her a minute to put on some clothes. And then she should've tried to shrug it off. People sometimes accidentally see each other naked... it's nothing to freak out about.
