My parents have always been really strict, and for no good reason at all. I've always brought home good grades, never gotten into trouble at school, ALWAYS gotten home in time for curfew. But even after respecting their rules ALL MY LIFE... They never let up on their rules. I talked to them about it, and they were not up for any reasoning whatsoever. So... I did something dumb. I thought, if they are going to be uptight and strict with me anyways... They might as well have a reason. Of course... I wouldn't tell them what I would do.
So, I decided to try drinking and smoking ONE TIME.
When I thought I was sober again... I called my bf, but he noticed something different about me. He made me tell him what was wrong... So I admitted it to him.
He was really disappointed, to say the least.
He told our youth minister at church... And now he is making me tell my parents.
They are going to FLIP OUT.
I did it ONE TIME. ONCE. It wasn't going to hurt me.
if I did it everyday... I would understand.
How should I tell my parents without them getting so worked up about everything?
