My guy friend dumped me? Advice?

Me and my grade school guy friend caught up on Facebook. We have spoken at least every other day. He has a girlfriend which it seems my guy friend is not INLOVE with her but I respected their relationship. I text my guy friend today, and he replied " I am ignoring you because I am causing him problems and how he can't continue are friendship?" how am I causing you problems when I just met you it sounds like its a lack of trust and lot insecurity in this relationship. The problem isn't me. I just wanted him as friend. Advice? Am I wrong?

When someone is in a relationship, friends of the opposite gender can sometimes be too close for comfort. Nothing wrong with being his friend but maybe you should back off and let him and his girl work out their issues? Once they've worked things out and have a more trusting and secure relationship, then you can be friends again.

Our first convo last week he didn't seem too much in love with her. I am not even sexually active. I understand if they were married but nobody is married...he hurt my feelings.. So I blocked hm on Facebook cause I'm ?ot the problem...

Sounds like you like him? Maybe he knows it. If so, you need to step down and wait until he's single :/

I know he's your friend and all, but you'll make the friendship worse if you mess with his relationship..

I do like him a bit but not in a serious way. We have not saw or talked in 15 years! We only spoke for a week...Its not like me and him have been talking for years or months...She threaten by me for only one freaking week!

You want her to slowly let you woo her man? be real.. you know what's up and you wouldn't like it if you were her and she was you.

The question is do I have to woo her man! It takes two tangle! Plus she came off very childish to be 30 playing on his cell phone when I called him...really? This was only the third day in our week convo...it's not like I'm an ex...or his babymama! He is not married so technically he/she is single. I wasn't trying to be with him...I liked him as friend.

I call BS... If you don't like my answer, I'll understand but it's the truth... he is with her and NOT you for a reason? Come on now, surely you know this If you really only wanted to be friends, you would back off.. but whatever. Do your thing, girl.

Of course the problem isn't you...it's his insecure girlfriend, she feels threatened and wants him to cut all contact with females that aren't her. In the end, he'll get sick of her controlling, jealous behavior, and he'll break up with her. At that point, he'll attempt to reconcile - and it's up to you whether you go for it.
