  • How do I sign up?

    GirlsAskGuys is completely FREE!
    You can sign up with your Facebook, Google account or email address.
    Think of a great username and tell us your gender and date of birth.
    If you want to add your own photo to use as your avatar, you can do that at any time!
    If you signed up with your email address, you'll need to first verify that address before you can ask questions or share your opinions. Otherwise, you're ready to go :-)

    GirlsAskGuys will not publicly display or share your social media account information and we will not post anything to Facebook or Google+ for you.
  • Can I change my username?

    Unfortunately no. Recently we have changed our policy and do not allow username changes anymore. Username changes have been starting to become more and more popular and these changes have been creating confusions among users. So, no more username changes. Thank you for your understanding.
  • How do I change my date of birth?

    After your initial signup with GirlsAskGuys, members cannot change the date of birth on their account.
    To have this changed, please contact us with the correct information and we'll make the change for you. This is a one time change.
  • How do I change my password?

    1. Sign into your account.
    2. Go to Settings, under your member drop down menu (top right).
    3. Under Login Settings, type in your new password.
    4. Click Save.
  • I forgot my password!

    If you forgot your password, go on to the Sign In page, click Forgot Password? and enter your email address. As long as your email address matches an account in our records, your user credentials will be sent to you within 15 minutes.
    To change your password:
    1. Sign into your account.
    2. Go to Settings, under your member drop down menu (top right).
    3. Under Login Settings, type in your new password.
    4. Click Save.
  • How do I change my email address?

    1. Sign into your account.

  • What is a private profile? How can I update my privacy settings?

    Making your profile private means only users you are following and who you approve to follow you can see your profile information. If you have a private profile, you will receive Follow requests, awaiting your Approval or Denial for any new Followers. Influencer accounts cannot be made private.

    To make your profile private and/or update your privacy settings:
    - Go to your Profile/Settings Page (Settings page can be accessed from the top right user menu)
    - Scroll down to "Privacy" settings
    - Check the "set profile private" box to make your profile private.
    - Check "Allow messages only from people I follow" to receive messages only from the users you are following.
    - Check the "hide activity from users I blocked" box if you do not want to see the site activity of users you have blocked in your Live Feed
    - Click "Save" to save your changes
  • What is a cover image?

    A cover image is a larger image you can upload on your profile. You can add another image of yourself, you can add a meme or something funny you’ve found, whatever you’re wanting to use to express yourself. Please remember that G@G isn’t an adult site, so keep the photos clean! To add, click the pencil (bottom right of image) to upload an image from your computer.
  • What is connecting with Facebook or Google?

    We now offer a new, quicker way to sign into GirlsAskGuys!
    Connect with your Facebook account or Google account to avoid having to enter an email address and password every time.

    GirlsAskGuys will not publicly display or share your social media account information and we will not post anything to Facebook or Google+ for you.
  • How do I cancel my account?

    If you would like to cancel your account, simply sign into GirlsAskGuys and click Settings from your account drop down menu (top right).
    Under Cancel your account, select a reason from the drop down menu and add details to tell us why you are cancelling.
    Then click Cancel Account.
    Once approved, your account will be Suspended for 14 days.
    If you log into your account before the due date, your account will be active again.
    If you do not log into your account within 14 days, we will cancel your account as your request at the end of this period. Your account will then be cancelled but your posts will remain visible.
    If you would like to keep your account but stop receiving emails, please uncheck boxes under Email Settings and you will no longer receive emails for daily or weekly updates.
  • How can I protect my identity online?

    GirlsAskGuys encourages you to create a profile with information such as your gender, hobbies, and interests. Your profile can help you meet like-minded people and attract users to share their opinions on your questions! However, too much information can also make you the subject of harassment, or worse. Please be careful about what you share, keep a healthy balance.

  • What is Cyber Bullying?

    Cyber bullying is bullying or harassment that happens online. Much of it is similar to what people experience offline in schools, homes, or the community. It is a real crime that can cause serious distress and pain, and you can be arrested and sued for such acts. Cyber bullying can happen in various forms, including instant messaging, social networking sites, email, and chat rooms, but the most common place bullying occurs online is over instant messenger. Cyber Bullying will not be tolerated on GirlsAskGuys.

    You cannot be absolutely certain if the people you meet online are who they say they are. You do not have to respond to any messages that are rude, annoying, or make you feel uncomfortable. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT if you get a message that is mean, or in any way makes you feel uncomfortable. If you get such a message, don’t respond. Simply block the user, delete the message, and report it to us via Contact immediately.
  • Cries for help online: Suicide
