my exes always wore high heels, But most of the time it was with a thicker heel. They enjoyed it. I think its sexy because it perks up the butt and improves their posture. Like how when men wear dress shoes they stand up straighter. that's why I never by flat shoes
They actually make your posture worse by throwing off the alignment of the knees, pelvis, and spine, and the bad posture is what makes the butt stick out. www.npionline.org/.../heels-and-your-posture.htm
Probably not as bad but they definitely don't improve posture since even a bit of lift in the heels will still tilt the pelvis forward more than it should be.
They're so pretty... in other women's feet! Actually I think that, depending on the shape of your feet, heels can be more or less confortable. Since, unfortunately, I tend to bloat like a ballon during the day, and have this duck shaped feet, heels weren't meant for me... :(

Actually from what I heard some guys like high heels and they are sexy to some guys because the foot is arched and looks like that of a foot when a woman has an orgasm. Personally I don't like to wear high heels, and when I use to wear them I wore them for fashion reasons not for men lol

Men actually were the first gender to wear high heels
Also, they were originally invented by men. Think cowboy boots. Women started wearing them to appear masculine, and subsequently men stopped wearing them to avoid looking feminine.

One benefit you didn't mention: wearing heels creates a lack of stability which carries on up the woman's body and tends to cause her boobs to bounce in a very attractive way! This works especially well with busty girls or girls wearing something braless.

I just noticed that the guys upvoted me but the one girl downvoted! hahaha!
they are pretty uncomfortable for me and really hard to find a good size for because i have wide feet. also i don't need them doing anymore damage to my feet. i have one bad ankle, and wearing heels can really aggravate it depending on the height.
I like wearing heels... for about 5 minutes. They're absolutely killers, I've almost given up on them but I do find I get more attention the higher the heels are. I already knew the science behind it.
I enjoy wearing them as part of the overall outfit and the sense of occasion but not the blisters and saw ankles! I tend to wear flat shoes (or wedges if I want a bit of lift)
I feel like if I researched the source of the research the funding would be tied to a clothing company. Heels don't do crap for me and I doubt they ever will. I do think heels themselves look sexy because the shape of the shoe is interesting and things like tennis shoes look frumpy by comparison but I've never seen a girl who put on heels and magically became more attractive. But maybe im just weird
Same can be said for a lot of research. The credibility of the study can, of course, be questioned. But I do think it brings up an interesting question that relates to attractiveness on a more broad, general basis.
I wear 4-6 inch heels everyday at work and I'm on my feet the whole time. It's no big deal

Hate to be a downer but all I can think of when I see things like this is, how can anybody refer to themselves as a scientist when their research consists of defining why heels are sexy
Anything can be studied. It's not so much the specifics of high heels, but how it relates to gender, dating, and attraction in general. Still involves work, statistics, data, etc.

@musicbrain5 even the ones with thick heels and not too high? maybe like 2 inch heels?

To be honest I don't care about heels at all. I find it a bit of a turnoff if a woman wears heels.
I'm a function over form guy, and if a girl is willing to torture her feet just to look slightly taller then she's not my type.
Agreed, I don't wear them either.

@abc3643 high heels look better with an outfit sometimes
I never found heels sexy.

I love wearing heels :) the higher the better. But I really like how they make my legs look, with me being 5'1, the feel of being taller is great lol
I love high heels on tall girls XD
They look like goddess, I wish I could look so good with them XD

I love to wear heels, it's make me more confident dan feel more sexy..
but actually i hate the pain, and sometime the heels hurt my toe..
but, beauty is pain..
Don't hurt your toes : (

I don't like wearing heels. I'm tall enough without them. And they hurt
They are not sexy, they are very uncomfortable and I hate them.
Well, they may be uncomfortable, but I don't think you're in a good position to regard them as sexy or not... considering your sex.
Ok, I'm not a lesbian, but I know some guys don't like them either :P
I just don't see how they're considered attractive to guys oh well it will be forever a mystery

I think the real question is why the hell would I care.
I don't like them they are not healthy for your feet, joints and spine.
