19 African-American Celebs With Light Eyes

Dark eyes can be striking due to its shape, size and a person's eyelashes (which further enhances the look). A good majority of African-Americans have dark brown eyes which appears black (depending on the lighting). I also find light eyes on the black race very striking as well because of the contrast with the skin color.

Below I will mention a few black entertainers/celebrities you may be familiar with that have that feature:

Wow, weren't some of those eyes very striking?

I know certain users will miss the point of this article and instead try to deny some of these entertainers of their Black heritage and shout that their eyes may be due to mixture.

Before I respond to that I will reveal the results from five DNA companies that tests your roots:

-According to Ancestry.com, the average African American is 65 percent sub-Saharan African, 29 percent European and 2 percent Native American.

-According to 23andme.com, the average African American is 75 percent sub-Saharan African, 22 percent European and only 0.6 percent Native American.

-According to FamilyTreeDNA.com, the average African American is 72.95 percent sub-Saharan African, 22.83 percent European and 1.7 percent Native American.

-According to National Geographic’s Geographic Project, the average African American is 80 percent sub-Saharan African, 19 percent European and 1 percent Native American.

-According to AfricanDNA, the average African American is 79 percent sub-Saharan African, 19 percent European and 2 percent Native American.

So, what did I learn from the results from the different DNA companies? That virtually no African-American is 100 percent Black. So yes, even if you have many generations without interracial mixing you will have some other racial group in your background from hundreds of years ago that can be traced with DNA testing.

So, to point out that some of these people may be mixed is irrelevant.

These people are embracing their blackness as any proud African-American would because

it is beautiful and nothing else!
