Help with tattoo design, does this look too girly? See profile pic.

Ok.. I am adding to my tattoo collection. Love this tatt, but think it might be a bit girly.. do you agree, if so how can I man it up a bit?

  • Maybe you could lose the hearts? have some other symbol representative of love? I found just a random few :)

  • What do the phrases mean?

The hearts make it seem girly but the rest is fine. If I knew what it meant, perhaps I could recommend another way to "man it up."

    • Semper fidelis.. always faithful. Amore vincet ominia.. love conquers all

    • Oh okay, well yeah, lose the hearts. And perhaps you don't need to add anything else. The words themselves are very appealing to the eye. But then again, I'm a very simple person so to me, less is more. So, I think it just depends on what you want.

  • yeah it actually does (its because of the cute heart and leaves)...a skull will help to make it more manly

    • What a good idea.. how about a skull within the heart?

    • hmm not really..maybe having a skull with roses instead of the cute heart

  • It's fine...to each their own. Since the quote says it all, the heart is kind of redundant in my opinion...

    • Agreed.. how do I man it up?

    • Ooops - And what it says really doesn't help with the masculinity. But if it's what you like go for it.

    • I would just go for the words. No hearts, leaves, designs.
I would also use the same "font" for each saying. Whether you use one of the ones pictured. Or something else that you like
