MAC vs Chanel makeup? Which one is better?

I've used MAC makeup for as long as I can remember and im really happy with it. its inexpensive and I feel like the products work well. My friend recently switched from Dior to Chanel, and is obsessed with it. what is the difference? is there more selection with MAC?

Chanel make-up is really nice, it's definitely better if you're into a more natural look, but both Mac and Chanel can be used either way, for natural or full on depending on how you apply it. Chanel is certainly more luxury, it might make a nice treat, but with the price range I wouldn't use it full out brand for everything.

It's hard to find just one brand for everything, but if I had to choose one of those brands which I have used both, it would be Chanel.

I personally feel that MAC is more well-known for a reason...
I've never had experience with either though.

It's better quality by far, but expensive
