How bad does it hurt to bleach your hair?

My hair is naturally black/very dark brown. How bad will it hurt to bleach my hair, i want to go with a light brown-reddish color. I will be getting it professionally done. I know my account says i'm a guy but i'm a girl. Also, i have pretty thick coarse hair.

The bleaching process in itself doesn't really "hurt"
as much as it.. stings? And it makes your scalp itchy.

The real dmg is done to your hair, bleaching can
make your hair brittle.

I did it myself, turned black into white/silver. ^.^

The darker your hair is, the longer it will have to stay on. And it will damage your hair - a lot and permanently.

No you don't feel actually. But beware, after bleaching hair becomes really weaker. I don't really suggest.

If it does get it off straight away.
It will itch and possibly feel very warm.
