My girlfriend has recently lost weight and her bikini don't fit and she just said she will wear her panties on the beach. The panties she selected looks like a bikini and I think it would pass off. So has anyone tried this before?

I don't think anyone cares. There are no rules on how to dress at the beach (as long as you cover your private parts - unless it's a topless beach)
